Comprehensive Education Plan Goals 2023-24


Goal 1 By August 2024, the number of students earning 2 English credits will increase by 2%, from 85% in SY2022-23 to 87%, as measured by passing rates in English courses.

Goal 2: By June 2024, incidents related to bullying, suicidal ideation and abuse will decrease by 10% for all students. This means a reduction of 2-4 incidents in each category, as measured by OORS codes B39, O57, O77 data. 

Goal 3:     By August 2024, students will demonstrate progress towards achieving NYS Standards for a 4-year graduation with an 90% overall rate for Cohort 2024. Meeting this goal represents a 1% increase over the 89% graduation rate for Cohort 2023 as measured by credit accumulation and Regents exam requirements. Our goal for SWDs is 78% (77% for Cohort 2023) and our goal for English Language Learners is 76% (75% for Cohort 2023).   

Goal 4: By August 2024, (CCCR) for All Students taking Advanced Courses will Increase 1%, from 69 to 70, as measured by students taking and passing advanced courses that include Algebra 2, Chemistry, Physics, AP Courses, and College Now. 

Goal 5: By June 2024, Supportive Environment practices will improve as measured by an increase in the completion of the NYC School Survey by families by 2%, from 56% in 2023 to 58% in 2024. 

 

Goal 6: By June 2024, to decrease our Chronic Absenteeism rate by 3% from 35% in SY2022-23 rate to 32% as measured by the Daily Attendance Rate. Our goal for SWDs is to decrease by 3% the Chronic Absenteeism rate from 46% in SY2022-23 to 43%. Our goal for ELLs is to decrease by 3% the Chronic Absenteeism rate from 41% in SY2022-23 to 38%. 

 

Goal 7: By June 2024, to strengthen the quality and implementation of IEPs for All Students with Disabilities (SWD) so that 98% of students are Fully Served. This is an increase of 2% from 96% achieved in 2023 as measured by the Program Service Report (PSR).
