Dear Fort Community,
The week of May 16, 2022, has been a difficult week for the Fort Hamilton High School Community. Thank you again for your support and cooperation as we navigated the threats and responses with NYPD and other officials. We are safe and know that there will continue to be concerns around safety, but we are clarifying protocols for all community members and making time and space for social-emotional support at school.
We came together as a community in a virtual school assembly today, May 20, 2022. We will share the recording with the community on Monday for those not present or taking an AP Exam. We are also organizing a forum for families this coming week and have invited NYPD to join us. The tentative date is 6 pm on Tjursday, May 26 in the auditorium, and there will be a virtual option. Please look for details on Monday 5/23/2022 once we've confirmed the availability of NYPD.
