Fort Students and Families, March 11, 2021
We are preparing for blended staff and students to return to the building. Blended students at FHHS will begin attending in person Wednesday, March 24th. We will maintain Mondays and Tuesdays as fully remote days. In-person days will be Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, and all Blended students will attend 2 days in person.
Updates to the Blended Cohort assignment will be on Pupilpath programs no later than March 17th. Students will either attend Wednesday and Thursday (ZWTH), Thursday and Friday (ZTHF), or Wednesday and Friday (ZWFR). We will do our best to maintain the day a student is currently assigned, but must ensure we have space across classrooms each day to remain safe.
Please note that FHHS adheres to the DOE guidelines for family options to select blended or remote for their child. If your child is Remote, they will remain remote for SY2020-21. Remote students will not be admitted to school, regardless of consent form for covid testing submitted after the deadline. We must ensure social distancing and can only increase to 2 days of in-person learning with the updated number of Blended students.
Important Dates and Reminders:
· Courses with NX in Term 1 – opportunities to complete work and earn credit under way.
· Marking Period 1 ends on Friday, March 12
· Parent Teacher Conferences are March 18, 5:30-8pm and March 19, 1-3pm

o Special Bell Schedule on March 19th (periods 2, 4, 6 and 8 will meet between 8am and 11am)
· MP1 Report Cards will be available on Pupilpath for students and families Tuesday, March 23
· Blended students return to building per updated cohort designation beginning March 24. Health screening, random temperature checks and masks are required.
· PTA Meeting on Thursday, March 25 at 6pm
· Spring Recess from March 29 to April 2.
· SAT School Administration for Juniors – registration deadline April 5 (link sent separately to juniors).
· Term 1 Grade Change Request: Families have the option to request that a passing numeric grade from Term 1 can be converted to CR (credit) by completing the form here no later than April 30, 2021. This does not apply to grades of NX. PARENT/GUARDIAN CHOICE OF GRADING SCALE for 2020 TERM 1
