Fort Students and Families: December 4, 2020
As we wrap up the first week of MP3, we have an adjustment to the bell schedule beginning Wednesday, December 9, 2020. The adjustment accommodates additional time for teachers to organize instruction for mixed modalities (teaching both in-person and remote students simultaneously). Even though we are fully remote until further notice, there is an agreement in place to provide this additional time immediately. The changes are to start times after first period and reducing passing from 6 minutes to 4 minutes. Teachers will be reminding students throughout classes on Monday and Tuesday, but everyone needs to plan accordingly. Thank you for your cooperation.

Reminders:
· All BLENDED students must provide parental consent for Covid-19 Testing to attend in-person. If you’ve already completed, thank you. · MP2 report cards will be on Pupilpath no later than December 8.
o If passing, students will earn 65% or higher. If NOT passing, students will earn an NX that means incomplete.
· Students are expected to participate in daily virtual meetings each period with live interactions every day of week, Monday through Friday.
· Testing days on Monday and Tuesday maintained to avoid disruption.
· Request a device, please complete the NYCDOE Remote Learning Device Request form at https://coronavirus.schools.nyc/RemoteLearningDevices. Please only complete the form once.
Virtual Tutoring schedule is on the website. Please access teachers available to support and assist. Students will join the applicable Google Classroom (code on schedule) and find the virtual session to join.
